This post is all about activities to boost your confidence and become the best version of yourself.
Struggling with low self-confidence? Are you tired of looking in the mirror and not feeling confident in who you are?
Then you are in the right place because today I am going to share with you 9 killer activities to boost your confidence.
From challenging toxic, negative thoughts to celebrating your small achievements and more, take on these strategies to actively boost your feelings of worth, and self confidence.
This is the beginning of loving yourself, welcome home.
Make a List of Your Strengths and Attributes
We tend to focus so much on the negative and what we are not, that we tend to forget all the wonderful things that we are.
So for this first exercise to boost your confidence I want you to take some time to think about the skills, talents, and attributes that make you unique.
This can be anything from physical attributes to things like great cooking or even your organizational skills.
Writing this list is an excellent way of reminding yourself of the amazing qualities that make up you. Use it as a confidence booster when the negative self-talk creeps in!
Take yourself on a self development date
Think of it as an activity to unite business and pleasure.
These dates consist of investing time in your personal growth as you are doing something fun. Here are a few examples to inspire you:
Going to a cute cafe and reading a book about self development while you have a coffee or a sweet treat.
Going for a walk while you listen to a self improvement podcast.
With these dates, you will improve your independence and confidence in your ability to be happy by yourself, without depending on anyone.
Activities to boost your confidence. Workout
Science fact coming: when you exercise your body is releasing a hormone called endorphins, a.k.a. the chemicals of happiness.
And aside from increasing your levels of happiness, it has been proven to boost your self esteem and ward off anxiety and depression feelings.
Now I know exercising is not everyone’s cup of tea.
But I want you to be open and think further than the traditional forms of exercising like running or doing squats.
Moving your body and finding an activity you enjoy doing is definitely something worth investing in.
Look for ways to spice it up, add and focus on things that make you feel motivated to work out. Like planning your outfits for each day, or creating a special playlist for your workout.
It could be anything like going for a walk, Zumba, roller skating, CrossFit, cycling… Or even dance workouts (yep, that’s a real thing and one of my guilty pleasures).
The goal here is to choose a form of exercise you love doing that makes you feel happy.
Create something from scratch
The next activity on our list is to create something from scratch. And before you think about it no, you don’t need to become a professional DIYer. It doesn’t even have to be good.
It could be anything like a recipe you found on Pinterest you feel excited to try. Or creating a new piece of artwork.
Maybe it´s time to renovate that little corner in your home that you have completely neglected. Or knitting a scarf.
The beautiful thing about creating something from scratch is it actually improves your mental health and boosts your self esteem.
Daily activities to boost your self confidence. Celebrate everything
The next self confidence boosting activity I want to share with you is keeping a small victories of the day journal.
And what is this you may be wondering? Basically, it´s a journal in which every day you write 10 things you achieved that day.
It could be anything that you have done that feels like a challenge or struggle to you. Even getting out of bed or catching up with your email.
The purpose of this exercise is to both acknowledge and appreciate the small achievements throughout the day.
This journal will also help you build your confidence by recognizing and focusing on these victories and your strengths.

Activities to boost your confidence. What if?
What if you were actually the right person for the job? What if you achieved that goal? What if you actually wore the dress? What if you took a step forward?
Most of our insecurities come from up here, from our minds. Your limiting beliefs make you question every decision you make. Your insecurities stop you from being yourself. And your fears prevent you from taking opportunities that could change your life.
And we end up constantly asking ourselves what if I fail? What if people laugh at me? What if I lose everything? What if my worst fear comes true? What if I´m actually a failure?
But… what if? What if you changed your perspective on that question? What if the best-case scenario happened?
Having self confidence is more than feeling good in your body. It´s also about believing in yourself, in your capabilities, and in your ability to do and achieve things.
And although the two of these influence each other, it´s important to remember to work on both areas.
So for this exercise, I want you to rewire your mindset and change your perspective in your what-ifs questions.
Simply ask yourself what if the best thing outcome actually came true?
Because good things do happen and let me tell you DESERVE THEM.
How to improve your self confidence. Dress for success
As we have said in the previous tip, your “outside” confidence and your “inner” confidence highly influence each other.
So why not take advantage of it? Why not trigger a sense of confidence (or at least pretend confidence) in yourself by investing in your physical appearance?
The truth is that when we feel good on the outside, it translates to our inside (and vice versa).
So in this activity to improve your self confidence I want you to dress for success. Meaning to dress like the highest version of yourself who has built your dream life.
Picture her. What kind of clothes is she wearing, the shoes, the coat, the bag, the make-up? Envision how she prepares each morning. The intention with which we choose her outfit for the day.
Now you don’t have to go out there and completely renovate your wardrobe or buy expensive clothes. The goal here is to put effort into your appearance.
Even if you work from home, choose clothes that make you feel good, sexy, and ready to take on any challenge life throws at you.
Confidence boosting activities. Self care day at home
Self care even though it seems like a silly activity to do, it has a holistic approach aside from applying face masks.
Think of it this way. One of the things we appreciate more in a relationship (platonic or romantic) is when the other person takes care of our needs. Both physical and emotional.
It makes us feel loved and appreciated. Then why not do the same for ourselves?
And I´m not just talking about face masks or bubble baths. Self care is about taking care of your needs and investing in activities that make you feel peaceful.
Try dedicating a day (or at least a couple of hours) to yourself.
Start with some light movement and a meditation or journaling time. Spend extra time on getting yourself ready for the day, your skincare routine, maybe even try a new hairstyle.
Then you could finish your day with one of your favorite movies and comfort food (remember that Pinterest recipe we talked about in the previous tip?)
The goal of this exercise is to choose activities that make you feel good both on the inside and the outside.

Learn about something you love
There is nothing more empowering than educating and investing in yourself.
That is why the last activity to boost your confidence is to learn about something you love.
And it doesn’t even have to be anything expensive like a course or seminar. It could be tutorials from youtube or buying a book about a non-fiction topic you are interested in.
You could even check The Googgle University where they have thousands of free courses for a ton of different topics.
The goal of this exercise is to boost your self confidence and intellectual abilities.
So turn your nerdy switch on and have fun!
And that is all for today! I hope you enjoyed these 9 activities to increase your confidence and boost your self esteem.
Now I´d love to hear from you. What was your favorite confidence boosting activity?
