Essential Self Love ritual you need to try
For this self love ritual you´ll need:
- Your favorite candle
- A journal of your choice
- A pen
- Some relaxing music
The first step of this self ritual is to look for the perfect place, so I want you to find a place in your home where you can be alone and at peace for a couple of minutes.
Once you find the place and a moment of peace to do this ritual put on your relaxing playlist and light on your candle.
During the first minutes I want to take a moment to unwind and relax your mind from all the noise and chaos of the outside world, I want you to connect with your inner self.
Once you have done this, let’s set the intentions for this little exercise. What do you want to take out of this? More self-love, self reflection, as a little manifestation and visualization moment?
Close your eyes as you set your intentions and imagine yourself living in a reality where that intention is your life, where you treat yourself with compassion, love, understanding, and belief in yourself.
Visualize yourself as your best version, someone who always strives to be better and who is living their best life.
After this little visualization process, you are going to choose a minimum of 2 prompts from the list above, and answer them in your journal as truthfully as possible. Remember to allow yourself to be vulnerable and imperfect, we are doing this ritual as a way to respect and love ourselves and the first step to do that is to open up and accept ourselves, both the things we like and the ones we don’t.
Write as much as you can and dive deep into yourself to find the answer to the questions you have chosen.
Finally, read the answer you have written and reflect on them for the rest of day. To finalize you can spend some minutes in silence as a little meditation moment if you feel like it.
And that’s it!
You can do this ritual once a day, a week, or a month. But whatever you choose remember to be consistent and show up to yourself.
