This post is all about the most powerful reset routine you need to manifest success in all areas of your life.

The beginning of a month, a blank canvas, a new chance to accomplish our goals, to be a better version of ourselves… So many new opportunities and possibilities.

The beginning of a new month gives us the chance to reflect on what has happened in the last couple of weeks, what direction our life is taking, etc., as well as reassess what things are we investing (or wasting) our time and energy in.

If you are looking for a new routine at the start of the month or away to plan your month in the most successful and organized way, you are in the right place.

In this article, I will share with you a very powerful reset routine at the beginning of the month to manifest success in all areas of your life, even if you are a procrastinator!

Why consider having a routine at the start of a new month?

The world in which we live today, a world full of new and daily innovation, moves so fast that it´s very easy to feel overwhelmed and mentally exhausted. Our environment is full of things that are always demanding our attention- work/school, family, friends, society, expectations, social media…

It´s so easy nowadays to lose the sense of what we are doing, of what we want in life, to feel lost in our daily routine…

That´s why it´s so crucial to force ourselves from time to time to open our eyes, to stop and ask ourselves what we are doing with our lives and what are we spending our time and energy into.

The benefits of having a reset routine are many, including a sense of clarity, direction, and calmness in your life, even if you live in a stressful and fast-moving environment.

This simple exercise also allows you not only to reflect on what you have and have accomplished but also to regain focus on what is important to you and what your dreams and goals are.

In other words, the biggest benefit from this reset routine is the regain of focus and direction in your life because without these we would only be running through life like headless chickens.

So, without further introduction, let´s begin….

Note: to do this reset routine, you will need a piece of paper or a journal, a pen, and the most important thing, an open mind.


Step n1º. Reflection

The first step of this powerful reset routine is, first of all, to make a recap of the previous month. This is very easy, all you have to do is list any important events that have happened and a list of all important lessons you learned this month.

Now that you have these two lists of important events and lessons learned, write a third one of the things you are grateful for. It could be goals you accomplished, special things that happened, people that you are grateful to have in your life, any big or small wins…

The purpose of this step is to close the events of the past month and to reflect on and acknowledge any valuable lessons. In addition to recognizing and being thankful for all the things and people, we have in our lives.

Step n2º There is no path without direction

Once you have finished reflecting on the past month, it´s time to set your intentions for this new month.

As we said earlier without a direction and focus in life we would just be headless chickens running through life. So this step is all about thinking about the goals you want to achieve, the dreams you have, and the new habits that you want to incorporate into your life…

I want you to list 5 goals you want to accomplish in all areas of your life- health and fitness, financial, emotional, personal, work-life, and relationships.

In addition to this, ask yourself, how do you want to feel? What emotions do you want to experience during the next couple of weeks? Don´t leave anything out.

Step n3º Divide and you will conquer

This is the key step that will make the goals you have established have a tik by the end of the month, so read carefully. Step number 3 consists of turning these goals into a longer to-do list.

In other words, start by choosing one of the goals you have established in the previous step and divide this big task into smaller ones, including all the necessary steps you must take to accomplish them.

Once you have this long to-do list, literally schedule them into your calendar or planner. Not only because scheduling this task will make it easier for you to carry them out, but because to-do lists tend to stay on paper.

For example, if one of your goals this month is to eat healthier, you could divide this big task into smaller ones by first of all deciding that you´ll include two healthy meals a week.

Then you´d have to research healthy and fun recipes, and lastly buy all the ingredients you need for those recipes.

The final result would be something like this:

To put another example, if this month you have the goal to read one book, you could make this bigger task into a smaller to-do list by looking at your daily routine and planning where you could fit some reading time into your daily routine. It could be a couple of minutes or pages every day, or a couple of hours once a week. Think about your daily life and how could you accomplish this goal.

This step is extremely useful and important not only because it forces you to take the time to plan but also makes it easier for you to accomplish your objectives.

But also because when we set our minds to do something, we may feel overwhelmed or unmotivated because of how big accomplishing this task seems.

However, by dividing your goal into smaller tasks your mind finds it easier to complete them, lowering the chances for you to sabotage yourself.

Step n4º- Visualization

Visualization is one of the many and most common methods you can use to attract and create the life of your dreams with the Law of attraction.

This powerful technique consists of seeing a goal you want to accomplish as already complete in your mind. You have to imagine your life as if that goal has already been achieved.

Create that image in your mind with detail, imagine the impact this has on your life, the way it makes you feel, and the type of person you are now.

The goal of this method is to make your brain vibrate in the same frequency as your dreams or the goals you have so that you can easily attract those results and that reality into your life. Visualization is effective because it harnesses the power of our subconscious mind and the Vibrational principle.

So put on a song that makes you feel uplifted, close your eyes for a few minutes and visualize yourself living this perfect month and achieving all the goals you have set for yourself.

Get specific, soak up on the emotions you want to feel this month, experience the events, smell the scents, taste the foods, see yourself accomplishing your goals…

Step n5º Affirmations

And the last, but not the least important step is affirmations.

Affirmations are sentences used to reprogram our subconscious mind. They can also be used to make us believe certain things about ourselves and the world or environment surrounding us.

Affirmations are also used as a way to manifest the things we want into our life (wealth, love, happiness, relationships…). Affirmations are part of a method called autogestion.

Autosuggestion is a technique of control through which we can voluntarily feed our subconscious with motivating and empowering thoughts.

In other words with the repetition of this method, you can voluntarily create thought habits in your subconscious that favor your efforts to create the life of your dreams.

Here´s the thing though, the tricky part of this method is that it´s not enough with reading these motivational sentences. Because for a thought to record in the subconscious it MUST be accompanied by a strong emotion. This means that when we read our affirmations out loud, we need to combine them with a feeling.

Don´t be scared, this is fairly easy to do. You simply have to read your affirmations and think about the emotions and feeling they evoke in you, let yourself be carried away by these feelings, by how they make you feel, how do they influence your life?

You may be asking yourself why I am telling you all of these. Well, because the fifth step consists of turning your objectives into affirmations. Why? To motivate yourself to accomplish all the goals you have set for yourself as well as create the right mindset to achieve them.

For example- “I make all the right moves to achieve my goals”.

“I live in a healthy and empowering surrounding”.

“I have all the tools I need to accomplish all of my goals”.

“I am strong and powerful”.

“I attract abundance in all areas of my life”.

“Today I choose to heal and nourish my body”.

Don´t forget to read out loud your affirmations at least once a day, preferably in the morning to start the day with an empowered and successful mindset, and to always always combine your affirmations with emotions for them to successfully record in your subconscious.
